MyRSS FEEDS 
WHAT IS AN RSS FEED & WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
A RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. For websites, particulary news related, RSS feeds allow the browser (you) to receive up-to-date information and articles specific to a certain topic without having to check back on the site for updates. The benefit of using RSS feeds is that it allows you to 1. customize your news based on interest and topics 2. stay easily informed and 3. save time.
HOW DO I TELL IF A SITE HAS RSS FEEDS AVAILABLE?
Every site and every Internet program/browser and version will display different signs. The most universal sign is

ICON WITHIN THE SITE
The RSS Feed Icon will be available on a page within the site giving you the option to subscribe to that particular feed.

RSS FEED IN URL STRING
Often times, the web URL will contain RSS within the URL strand.

ICON ON WEB TOOLBAR
For particular versions of browsers, the RSS Icon is an active menu item. When using Internet Explorer 7.0, the RSS Icon appears in the menu toolbar. The icon will remain static, displayed in grey tones (1) until you reach a page that contains a RSS subscribe feed. At this point, the RSS icon will become orange (2). For Mozilla Firefox 3.0, the RSS icon appears in the URL box when you reach a site that contains an active RSS feed (3).
HOW DO I TURN-ON THE MyRSS FEED PART IN ConnectionPOINT?
To add the MyRSS Feed to your ConnectionPOINT page, simply select the Part from the ADD PARTS menu (see Step 2 for information on adding optional Parts).
